  28. When I first got my Sportster 28.8k I had one with the 'spiral death
  29. syndrome'. Consequently, I tried setting changes (not knowing it was a
  30. faulty chip) until I had it all screwed up. I got the new chip (33.6k),
  31. reset the modem to it's default (AT&F1&S11=050T&W) and all is wonderful!
